So the man and I took my parents to the Denver Museum of Science and Nature today. They have a special exhibit of mammoths and mastadons right now. Some are the bones found in snow mass a few years ago, others are on loan from other museums. Pictures were prohibited of most items but a few things were okay.
After that we went to la casita and introduced them to Colorado green chili and stuffed our faces. I’ve gotta take them to the airport in the am and that’s the end of their trip. It was short but nice.

We need to get over there to see that! We have a membership, but we always seem to miss stuff. We just sneaked into Pompeii on the last day.
Why do they restrict photos, though?
They didn’t say why, maybe because some items are on loan? It was neat though, I saw it when they first found the bones from Snowmass a few years ago. I knew my mom would like it.
