Tasty Tasty Campbell’s

A while back I was sent a big box of Campbell’s goodies from crowdtap with lots of new items to try out!

Here’s some of what I tried:
image

Portobello mushroom soup, I added garlic, pesto, artichoke hearts and eventually pasta

Everyone loves spaghettios!

Pasta, creamy parmesan chicken, French cut green beans.

This ended up being a loaded potato soup! Deeeeelish!

Thank you Campbell’s for letting me try some new recipes, I’ll definitely be buying these items again!

Blackberry Z10 on Verizon Review

IMG_20130601_144008For the last few weeks I’ve been using the Blackberry Z10 that was sent to me on behalf of Verizon and Crowdtap! Yes, I know, I’m so lucky another free product to try out!

I haven’t had a blackberry since the old roller ball types so I was excited to see what this new phone had to offer, and boy was it a lot!

One of my FAVORITE things is the Time Shift Mode, basically when you take a photograph of people, it records right before/after your shot so in case they’re blinking or making some odd face, you can rewind or fast forward by milliseconds to get just the right shot! You know theres always that ONE person blinking in your pictures, so you try again, then someone else is looking down at their shoes, or whatever the case may be, time shift mode is AWESOME.

Another cool feature is the Story Maker app. You can add intro/exit screens with titles and information, as well as adding music and still shots in to the loop! Both the videos and pictures are crystal clear. All the pics I posted earlier this week of our hike with the dogs were taken with the BBZ10!

I think as blackberry has always been business focused, this phone is the same way. It has social media apps like Facebook, Twitter, Youtube etc, but I think a lot of the meat and potatoes part of the phone is focused on email, messaging, calendar integration, documents and things like that. There aren’t a TON of apps yet in the Blackberry World, but I’m sure they’ll be popping up more and more soon! I did download the “Simon” game app. You remember it with the red yellow green blue sections that you gotta tap in repetitive order? That was a lot of fun and frustrating at the same time! haha!

All of my contacts were easily integrated from facebook, email and other sources as well.
Instead of having “Swype” as so many of us are used to, blackberry offers “Flick” which is basically you start typing a word and it suggest a few, if you see the one you want, you just “flick!” that word and it inserts it into your text! It takes a few tries to get used to it but does come in very handy. I think the single letter typing is a lot more accurate on this phone than others and I’ve noticed a lot less errors.

IMG_00000116The “HUB” is where you can see all your notifications, emails, twitter, facebook, phone calls. Nice to have it all in one spot!

BBM (messenger) is back so you can easily chat with other BB users! You can also screen share videos with other BBZ10 users! How cool would that be?!

If you’re a business owner, or are on the job all the time away from an office or a frequent traveler, I bet this phone would be great for you! Right now I’m more social media focused so if some more app’s come out for that genre it’d be perfect for me!

Crowdtap and Verizon are so gracious that I even get to KEEP THIS PHONE for freezies! How awesome is that? I’m actually going to be giving it to my mom who has an old outdated 3g Verizon android. Ive made sure to send her the links for all the online tutorials so hopefully she’ll feel comfortable when she starts using it!

Here’s the quick video I made while I bought everyone lunch at TGIFridays on behalf of Verizon and Crowdtap!

So overall this is a pretty snazzy new phone and if you’re used to the old blackberry’s and love the integration they offered with your business and personal use I’d definitely recommend it to you!
