It’s that time again!

 

The annual Wag’nTrail hike and fundraiser is just 15 days away!! 

 

If you can, donate to our team page and help those homeless puppies and kitties!!

Today Santa came to petsmart to take photos and collect donations for the dumb friends league!

We had a ton of visitors and raised a lot of money!

I wanted to get Abbie during my lunch, but I ran out of time to get her while I was helping a family adopt a  sweet kitty.

Its that time of the year again! We’ve got a month until the Wag ‘n Trail and Ellie and Abbie want to raise $500 for homeless pets!! 

Luckily, most dogs can’t do math, so they dont know the difference between a $5 or $50 donation, so skip your morning latte tomorrow and help out a cute puppy or kitten!! 

Both Ellie and Abbie were shelter dogs and Ellie even came from the Buddy Center that we’re supporting! 

Here’s what your donation can help:

$30.00 will help us nurture a kitten or puppy that needs foster care

$60.00 will help us shelter and care for a lost dog until he is reunited with his owner

$85.00 will help us spay a mother cat before she goes to her new home

$115.00 will help us teach schoolchildren to be kind to animals

$250.00 will help offset the costs of rescuing pets from cruelty or neglect

Donate and Win!!

After our hike we were perusing the vendor booths and one was “Donate $1 spin the wheel to win!” So I did, and I did!

what a godsend!! Ive needed one of these for Abbie and I’ve been too cheap to buy one! All the ones I see are $30+ luckily  I only paid $1! ha!

I brushed her with it tonight and she loved it.

We took a 3-4 hour nap after we got home this morning, we were ALL exhausted! LOL who’d a thunk a 2 mile hike would wear us city folk out so much?! haha.

The girls had a good time and we raised $155! And thats all that matters!

We got a nifty t-shirt, a glass water bottle, a portable water/food bowl for the dogs, and of course snazzy bandannas!

And we raised $125 this year, not a lot, but it’ll help some homeless pets while they wait for their forever homes!

She slept until 7pm after the hike that ended at 11am… she was sooo exhausted.
